Deng Yu's paper on the mathematical physics problem that earned him the Fields Medal simply proves that emergence can result in irreversible time phenomena through nonlinear combinations of collisions, derived from the linear behavior of particles. It's similar to a question I often ask: Bitcoin is a system composed of a bunch of Turing machine computations, so is Bitcoin a Turing machine? In other words: linear Turing machines can generate irreversible time phenomena through nonlinear collisions and combinations, but this does not mean that nonlinear problems can be converted into linear problems. That is, the difficulty of the P/NP problem is far beyond this issue.
