Digital Industry Revenue in China to Reach 39.6 Trillion Yuan by 2025

According to a report by Jinse Finance, on July 25, the latest *National Informatization Development Report (2025)* released by the Cyberspace Administration of China indicates that by 2025, the added value of China's core digital economy industries will account for over 10.5% of GDP, with digital industry revenue reaching 39.6 trillion yuan, an 8.8% year-on-year increase. The scale of digital consumption by Chinese residents will reach 25.3 trillion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 8.7%. Meanwhile, China's network infrastructure will undergo quality improvements and upgrades. By the end of 2025, the total number of 5G base stations in China will reach 4.838 million, with two-thirds of prefecture-level cities meeting the gigabit city standard. The number of active IPv6 users will reach 869 million.
