[NVIDIA Reportedly Set to Increase Prices for GDDR6 and GDDR7 Memory Kits] According to a report by Jinse Finance on July 24, citing tech media outlet Benchlife, NVIDIA (NVDA.O) has issued a price increase notice to its board partners, involving GDDR6 and GDDR7 memory kits. It is reported that NVIDIA supplies its products to board partners by bundling GPU chips with VRAM (video memory) chips into kits, while the partners are responsible for mounting these chips onto their custom-designed PCBs (printed circuit boards) to produce custom graphics cards. With the prices of GDDR6 and GDDR7 memory kits set to rise again, it is expected that AIB (Add-in Board) manufacturers will have no choice but to correspondingly increase the prices of graphics cards.
