[Analysis: Bitcoin Long-Term Holders of 5+ Years Recently Moving BTC Frequently, Single-Day UTXO Movements Exceed 5,000 BTC] Odaily Planet Daily reports that CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost has observed a significant increase in on-chain activity among Bitcoin's oldest holders. Data shows that BTC holders with holding periods of 5 to 7 years and 7 to 10 years have seen their daily UTXO (Unspent Transaction Output) movements exceed 5,000 BTC multiple times. Darkfost pointed out that UTXO being spent does not necessarily mean selling; long-term holders typically move Bitcoin for two main reasons: first, for security purposes, such as changing wallet addresses, which results in the transfer of UTXOs from the original address; second, to sell assets. However, based on current on-chain data, there is no evidence of large amounts of funds flowing into exchanges, so there is no indication that these long-term holders are engaging in large-scale BTC sell-offs. Notably, this activity is occurring as Bitcoin once again tests the $60,000 level, resembling the market trend observed between February and March of this year. The market will continue to monitor whether the activities of long-term holders will further impact the supply-demand dynamics of BTC.
