[Beijing: Encouraging the Development of the Token Economy, Increasing Support for Computing Power Vouchers]
Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on July 23, the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, along with other departments, jointly issued the 'Several Measures of Beijing to Accelerate the Development Led by Intelligent Entities,' aiming to drive innovation-led development of intelligent entities and take the lead in cultivating new forms of the intelligent economy.
The initiative encourages the development of the Token economy. It promotes innovation entities to research and develop general-purpose processors compatible with intelligent entity system calls, complex task scheduling, and high-frequency decision-making, as well as to develop low-latency, high-throughput specialized inference chips. It supports innovation entities in tackling key technologies such as inference architecture, reducing inference costs through heterogeneous collaboration, memory-computation collaboration, and intelligent scheduling, and accelerating application-layer efficiency optimizations like inference cache reuse and intelligent task routing to improve Token efficiency across the entire chain.
The initiative seeks to restructure product forms and service models, fostering new business models such as Token-as-a-Service (TaaS), Agent-as-a-Service (AaaS), and Result-as-a-Service (RaaS). It aims to include more eligible new Token products and services in the scope of voucher products for small and medium-sized enterprises. Additionally, it plans to increase support for computing power vouchers and encourage districts with the necessary conditions to collaborate with innovation entities to explore the issuance of Token vouchers, intelligent entity service vouchers, and other measures to accelerate the promotion and application of intelligent entities.
