[Citigroup: Investors Are Overly Optimistic About the Resolution of U.S.-Iran Issues]
Odaily Planet Daily News - Citigroup Chief Investment Officer Kate Moore believes that investors seem overly optimistic about the resolution of U.S.-Iran issues. She stated on Wednesday: 'Some of the price fluctuations we've experienced, especially over the past two days, actually indicate that people are extremely optimistic about the problem being resolved and also believe that this energy shock will not trigger widespread inflationary effects. To be honest, this makes me a bit concerned.' She added: 'When it comes to portfolio construction, I hope to approach it with extreme caution. Because what we want to build right now is a portfolio with risk resilience, and we must also ensure that we can withstand inflation risks and potentially more prolonged conflict risks than current market optimists anticipate.'
