[Robinhood Q4 Revenue Misses Expectations, Drops Nearly 8% After Hours, Crypto Revenue Down 38% YoY]
BlockBeats News, February 11: Robinhood released its Q4 2025 financial report, showing record net revenue of $1.28 billion for the quarter, a 27% year-over-year increase but below Wall Street's expectation of $1.34 billion. As a result, Robinhood (HOOD) shares fell as much as 7.66% after hours to $79.04, down more than 42% from the October 3 high of $148.67.
By segment, crypto revenue fell 38% year-over-year to $221 million, as the crypto market entered a prolonged correction phase starting in October. However, the company's net profit for the quarter was $605 million, a 34% year-over-year decline; earnings per share were $0.66, slightly above the market expectation of $0.63.
In terms of trading volume, the nominal crypto trading volume on the platform and its subsidiary Bitstamp increased 3% quarter-over-quarter to $82.4 billion in Q4; stock trading volume rose 10% quarter-over-quarter to $710 billion, and options contract volume grew 8% quarter-over-quarter to 659 million contracts.
Additionally, driven by products such as prediction markets and futures, the company's "other" trading revenue reached $147 million in Q4, a 375% year-over-year increase, surpassing stock trading revenue for the first time.
For the full year, Robinhood's 2025 net revenue grew 52% year-over-year to $4.5 billion, and full-year net profit increased 35% to $1.9 billion. CEO Vlad Tenev stated that the company remains committed to building a 'financial super app.'
