Here’s the current situation: If you’ve listed a bunch of memes you’re planning to buy, you can basically remove the ones that have already hit alpha from your list. Why? Because most of the ones that hit alpha start to drop steadily. Alpha is pretty much the endpoint where everyone pulls out liquidity. Yesterday, two memes hit alpha, and just as I expected: One with a large market cap paired with one with a small market cap. The large market cap one went up for a bit, but now it’s coming down too. The small market cap one started dropping right away. These two are already on alpha, so let’s look at the others that haven’t hit alpha yet. They’ve all dropped to just a few hundred K.
