Today, I roughly estimated that many people will start saying, 'You see, the US stock market has once again reached a new high, but BTC has actually fallen to $90000, and there is no correlation between the US stock market and Bitcoin.'. I can understand the frustration of my friends, but in fact, although the S&P 500 did create a new high during trading, it also ended in a decline at the close of trading, almost losing the magnitude of yesterday's rise. The Nasdaq also experienced a pullback.
Cryptocurrencies are inherently influenced by liquidity and users, and cannot compare in size with the leading US stocks. Increased volatility is inevitable. Although they fall earlier and fall more during downturns, they also rise more during upswings. On Monday, they were significantly ahead of the US stock market's rise, not to mention that this rise was due to an increase in information rather than changes in actual liquidity.
Moreover, today's decline is partly related to Trump's series of new measures. I feel that Trump is a bit impatient for votes. Today, he has made restrictions on defense contractors and institutions to buy houses. Moreover, PDVSA, the state-owned oil company of Venezuela, seems not to be very cooperative, so the current focus of the game is on monetary policy. For example, today's job vacancy data is not very friendly. Let's wait and see non-agricultural.
Looking back at the data of Bitcoin, the turnover rate is already frighteningly high. Such a high turnover rate indicates that investors' emotions are not very stable. From the perspective of chip structure, short-term investors are indeed more responsive. The short-term profit chips that were previously on the sidelines have shown signs of significant turnover. The current focus is on whether the US stock market has stopped falling and whether BTC can stabilize above $90000.
What I am more concerned about is that if BTC falls below $90000, it is highly likely to still hover around $88000, which is likely to be a re-entry into junk time.
