[Opinion: The lack of extreme Bitcoin surge by year-end suggests no major crash in Q1] Odaily Planet Daily reports that Anthony Pompliano stated in an interview with CNBC that the absence of a frenzied price spike for Bitcoin by year-end could act as a catalyst to prevent a significant crash in the first quarter of next year. He pointed out that, given the current substantial compression in Bitcoin's volatility, the likelihood of a 70% or 80% pullback is extremely low. Anthony Pompliano noted that although Bitcoin has not reached the $250,000 target anticipated by some investors, it has risen 100% over two years and nearly 300% over three years, maintaining strong performance in the financial markets. He added that while the reduced volatility may disappoint holders focused on upside potential, it also provides safety on the downside, reducing the probability of large-scale pullbacks. Bitcoin is currently trading at $87,436, down 7.39% from the beginning of the year. Additionally, Peter Brandt predicts that Bitcoin could drop to $60,000 in Q3 2026, while Fidelity's Global Macro Research Director Jurrien Timmer believes Bitcoin's price could fall to $65,000 in 2026.
