Arca CIO: Many new investors mistakenly believe that investing in Bitcoin can seize blockchain growth opportunities Jeff Dorman, Chief Investment Officer of Arca, stated that there is still a significant disconnect between Bitcoin as an investment target and the overall growth of the blockchain ecosystem. The fields of stablecoins, real asset tokenization (RWA), and DeFi are growing rapidly, but discussions on Wall Street and fintech are more focused on how to use stablecoins and RWA to achieve issuance and fee collection, rather than investment itself. At the same time, most investors' attention remains focused on Bitcoin, leading to less research and discussion on the value of the token on Wall Street. Although some institutions have started to engage in token research, such as Cantor Fitzgerald's report on some tokens, overall token investment has not yet become mainstream, and related sales and promotion work has not shown any improvement. Many new investors mistakenly believe that investing in Bitcoin can seize the growth opportunities of blockchain, but Bitcoin is not directly related to the growth of blockchain fields such as decentralized finance, stablecoins, and RWA. Nevertheless, Bitcoin still dominates the flow of funds and price trends. It is currently unclear when this situation will change, but investors generally tend to enter the market during price corrections, ignoring the potential value of other areas of blockchain.
