Reading this article got me thinking deeply. Back in 2021, uni, dydx, and others made a bunch of people rich overnight. At that time, I also considered whether I should put more effort into farming. My decision back then was a firm No. The reasoning was that if something has a very low entry barrier and extremely high profits, the outcome is bound to be that you won’t make money. Now, four years later, I’m reflecting on whether that decision was right or wrong. You could say it was right, because now a lot of those studios have shut down one after another. But you could also say it was wrong, because during that time, I missed out on too many opportunities to get rich, like arb, w, op, strk, and others. The same situation happened with inscriptions and MeMe. If you follow the logic, they’re definitely on a path to zero, but that doesn’t stop people from getting rich in the middle of it. Sometimes I think, maybe life is just like this. The logic is one thing, but the process can be completely different. And the next opportunity to get rich might also lie in something that’s destined to go to zero.
