**[Musk Predicts: $38.3 Trillion "Crisis" Could Trigger Bitcoin Price Surge]**
December 2 news, according to Forbes, Elon Musk has once again issued a warning, stating that the U.S. is rapidly heading toward a "debt crisis" that could cause significant volatility in Bitcoin prices. Traders are preparing for major policy changes potentially coming from the Federal Reserve in December. Against this backdrop, Musk predicts that in the future, "money as a concept will cease to exist," and energy will become the only "real currency."
In an interview with Nikhil Kamath, Musk said: "This is why I say Bitcoin is based on energy. After all, you can't create energy through legislation." He also mentioned, "The U.S. is significantly increasing its money supply through a deficit of approximately $2 trillion." Musk further predicted that within three years, advancements in artificial intelligence will accelerate the production of goods and services beyond the rate of inflation. "About three years from now, the production growth of goods and services will surpass the growth rate of the money supply. At that point, deflation may occur, interest rates will drop to zero, and the debt problem will be much smaller than it is now."
Musk had previously supported Trump's return to the White House through campaign rallies and warnings about the U.S.'s escalating debt (which has now exceeded $38 trillion). However, after Trump failed to control government spending, Musk's relationship with Trump deteriorated sharply. Although Musk's support for Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is no longer at its peak during the COVID-19 pandemic, he continues to advocate for Bitcoin and Dogecoin.
After leaving the White House, Musk stated that the "American Party" he promotes would be more inclined to choose Bitcoin over the dollar, claiming that the dollar and other non-asset-backed currencies are "hopeless."
