Binance just did another 'monopolistic' thing.
Updated the Binance Wallet today and found out you can directly buy tokenized stocks in the wallet now. I didn’t expect it to happen this fast.
Global core assets are lowering barriers through the internet and blockchain, just like how you can buy A-shares or gold in Alipay.
This time, the on-chain stocks in Binance Wallet are tokenized products provided by top U.S. RWA platforms Ondo Finance and Xstocks.
Side note: The on-chain stocks issued by these two RWA platforms are mainly targeted at non-U.S. investors. Think about that for a second.
Binance enabling this feature is like successfully testing a new type of nuclear bomb—creating a closed loop for traffic and liquidity. Other platforms with similar features probably won’t have it easy.
In short, being able to buy traditional blue-chip stock assets from Wall Street is definitely a good thing for retail investors. The opportunities in crypto have gone from single-choice to multiple-choice.
Any pros at trading U.S. stocks here? Which ones are worth buying right now?
