If there was a common thread running through @EFDevcon this year, it was a focus on real engineering: correctness, practical privacy, client performance, and securing systems before anything is signed. You could hear it everywhere. In ZK sessions, unpacking zkVM correctness. At the client summit, teams compared real benchmark data instead of claims. In security discussions centered on stopping bad transactions before they happen. Even privacy talks felt more grounded, with builders looking for tools they can actually use. Our own sessions and conversations lived inside that same current. The formats changed, the examples changed, but the questions remained consistent: Does it work? Can you measure it? And can you trust it under load? It was a week shaped by careful engineering and people who care about getting things right. If you want to pick any of these threads back up once things settle down, we’re around.(Nethermind)
