**[Strategy and Bitcoin Community Call for "Boycott" of JPMorgan Chase]**
BlockBeats News, November 24, as reported by Cointelegraph, opposition against financial services giant JPMorgan Chase is rapidly growing within the Bitcoin community and among Strategy supporters. On Sunday, the calls to "boycott JPMorgan Chase" continued to intensify.
The Bitcoin community's anger stems from a report: index company MSCI (formerly known as Morgan Stanley Capital International, responsible for deciding which companies can be included in indices) may exclude crypto asset treasury companies from its indices starting January 2026.
This information was shared in a research report by JPMorgan Chase. In response, Bitcoin supporter and real estate investor Grant Cardone stated, "I just withdrew $20 million from Chase (a bank under JPMorgan Chase) and sued them for credit card violations." As the online boycott movement gains momentum, Bitcoin advocate Max Keiser also voiced his stance: "Take down JPMorgan Chase, buy Strategy and BTC."
Strategy entered the Nasdaq 100 index in December 2024 (comprising the 100 largest tech companies by market capitalization), thereby benefiting from large-scale capital inflows from passive index funds. Regarding MSCI's proposed adjustments, Saylor publicly responded: "Strategy is not a fund, not a trust, and not a holding company." "Funds and trusts passively hold assets; holding companies only hold investments." He further stated that Strategy is a "structured financial company backed by Bitcoin."
