Michael Saylor responds to Cathie Wood: Bitcoin and stablecoins are not in competition Strategy founder Michael Saylor stated in a CNBC interview on November 14 that he disagrees with Cathie Wood's view that the growth of stablecoin trading would encroach on Bitcoin use cases. He believes the digital asset economy is expanding in multiple dimensions and can be divided into two parts. One part is built around Bitcoin, with Bitcoin serving as digital capital akin to digital gold, and its core application being interest-bearing digital credit tools. The other part is digital finance, based on proof-of-stake networks like Ethereum, with core applications including stablecoins, tokenized assets, and decentralized finance. He emphasized that stablecoins and Bitcoin-based digital assets have different positioning and applications. While the scale of stablecoins may grow from hundreds of billions to trillions of dollars, they fundamentally do not compete with digital assets. Video source: CNBC Television
