Institutional crypto appetite has evaporated with flows down 90% from August peaks. DATCO flows surged to 5.5B in August 2025 but have now collapsed to under 500M monthly. October flows are barely visible with BTC capturing what little institutional interest remains while altcoin purchases have essentially flatlined. Strategy is also showing signs of weakness with their mNAV plummeting from around 2.5 in early 2025 to approximately 1.2 today. The speculative premium has compressed dramatically, though MSTR still trades above its BTC holdings.
