[Guangdong: Actively Cultivating Innovation Platforms Driven by Technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Web3.0] The People's Government of Guangdong Province has issued the 'Construction Plan for the Guangdong National Digital Economy Innovation Development Pilot Zone (2025–2027),' which proposes fostering platform economy development through ecosystem building. Efforts will be made to survey platform enterprises and establish a province-wide platform enterprise database. The potential of platform enterprises in niche industries will be explored, and innovation platforms driven by technologies such as artificial intelligence and Web3.0 (third-generation internet) will be actively cultivated. Platform enterprises will be guided in accordance with the law to reasonably determine basic commission standards for small and micro merchants and the proportion of deductions for flexible workers, among other measures. Additionally, the protection of rights for small merchants and workers in new employment forms will be strengthened, leveraging platform enterprises to play a leading role in driving innovation, expanding consumption, and stabilizing employment.
