I've never liked going to Beijing; there are just too many scammers there. Years ago, I got involved in a private DAG project. Not long after they issued the token, they ran off. Before investing, I had a meal with the person in charge, and during the meal, another guy I knew directly sent over 500 ETH on the spot. Later, we were all in a group chat discussing what to do. It took me a few years to realize—damn, that guy was probably a plant, putting on a show. Later on, I managed to exploit their market-making bot and pulled ETH out of the market. When I invested, ETH was $1,300 each. When I pulled it out, it was $200 each. Even though I lost a ton, I held on for a few more years and finally broke even.
