I saw it a bit late, but luckily I still had some WCT and quickly deposited it! @WalletConnect now supports the Sui chain, and not long ago, they integrated Bitcoin's Layer 2 sidechain Stack. Their roadmap shows they're expanding by supporting more networks to upgrade into the standard infrastructure for crypto payments. If they keep going like this, it's the typical payment network expansion path (just like Visa / PayPal / Stripe). Looks like they're no longer satisfied with being just a "scan-to-connect wallet" tool—they're aiming to become the Web3 version of Stripe / PayPal? But can we get a pump in the token price already?
