Here’s another example of subjective vs. objective perspectives, about the 2022 interest rate hikes. I thought the 2022 rate hikes were bearish. Some people in the market disagreed and brought up a counterexample ➤ the 2017 crypto bull run during rate hikes. Later, at the end of 2022, I felt there was no need to focus on the Fed's rate hikes anymore, just stick to the plan. Some people in the market disagreed ➤ 'The 2022 rate hikes caused such a big drop, and there are more hikes coming, so it’s definitely going to drop further, and the U.S. is heading for a recession.' See, the same objective event of rate hikes can lead to different subjective opinions.
