Amazon acquires AI wearable device manufacturer Bee

According to Golden Finance, Amazon (AMZN. O) has acquired startup Bee, which produces a wearable artificial intelligence assistant priced at $50. The co-founder of this San Francisco startup, Lourdes Zoro, announced the acquisition in a brief post on LinkedIn. A wristband developed by Bee can record and transcribe users' activities, using this information to generate to-do lists and summary conversations. Amazon spokesperson Alexandra Miller stated that as part of the agreement, all Bee employees have received invitations to join Amazon.
