🚨 There’s been talk about new Bitcoin cross-chain solutions using ZK tech. Most mint zkBTC on Ethereum based on ZK proofs, but… On the BTC side, they rely on a proposed OP_ZKP opcode for native proof verification — which isn’t live yet. So it’s still centralized. ⚠️ MAP Protocol (MAPO) was one of the first to explore ZKP-based cross-chain.
