Odaily Planet Daily News: The latest document from the US Department of Justice shows that Ivan Soto Wright, CEO of encrypted payment company MoonPay, and CFO Mouna Ammari Siala may have become victims of a fraud case, transferring over $250000 USDT to a Nigerian fraudster. The fraudster impersonated Steve Witkoff, co chairman of Trump's inauguration committee, and used a carefully designed deceptive email address (replacing the uppercase letter "I" with the lowercase letter "l") to carry out the fraud. According to documents from the Ministry of Justice, the wallet involved has been confirmed to be registered under the name of Ehiremen Aigbokhan in Lagos, Nigeria. Currently, Tether has frozen approximately $40000 USDT. As of press time, MoonPay has not yet responded to this incident. (The Block)
