Senate today unanimously passed legislation providing relief for taxpayers impacted by natural disasters and emergencies by authorizing the IRS to postpone federal tax filing deadlines for up to one year for disasters declared by state governors. House passed the Filing Relief for Natural Disasters Act 388-0 in March. Bill now heads to President Trump to be signed into law.
