Analysis: BlackRock currently holds nearly 700000 bitcoins, only 38% behind surpassing Satoshi Nakamoto

Odaily Planet Daily News: Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas stated in an article on X platform that BlackRock currently holds nearly 700000 bitcoins, only 38% away from surpassing Satoshi Nakamoto to become the world's single largest bitcoin holder (if all bitcoin ETFs are considered as a whole management, it has already surpassed Satoshi Nakamoto). BlackRock's Bitcoin spot ETF, IBIT, is currently absorbing Bitcoin at a rate of 40000 coins per month (approximately 1300 coins per day). Based on this trend, it is expected to reach a holding of 1.2 million coins by May 2026.
