Analysis: The US dollar will remain weak and there may be some consolidation

According to BlockBeats, on July 1st, Lombard Odier strategists continued to predict a weakening of the US dollar over the next 12 months. They said in a research report that there may be some consolidation, but the likelihood of a larger recovery seems smaller. Investors are moderately shifting from US assets to Europe and Japan, which poses downside risks to the US dollar, but the recent underperformance seems to have continued.
They stated that the slowdown in US economic growth and the possibility of unexpected growth in other regions in 2026 will lead to a weakening of the US dollar and an increase in the euro/dollar exchange rate. Our fair value estimate for the euro/dollar is around 1.15, but considering higher foreign exchange volatility and more geopolitical uncertainty, it would be cautious to consider a wider range of 1.15-1.20
