Yes, the more impactful your tweets, the higher your score! 🚀 🤔 These discoveries led me to a deeper reflection: Why are InfoFi projects suddenly everywhere, and what do they actually mean for content-focused KOLs like us? 🎯 The Premise: Content ecosystems are the final missing piece in Web3. DeFi, GameFi, and SocialFi have tackled different forms of value transfer—but information flow has never had a clear value system. InfoFi changes that. Its essence lies in assigning on-chain value and incentives to content, opinions, data, and interactions. It fills the long-standing gap of how we reward meaningful content creation in Web3. 💡 The Opportunity: Turning high-quality output into real value. In the past, publishing an in-depth thread might earn you likes, reposts, or if you’re lucky, a retweet from an exchange. But there was no way to quantify that impact or monetize it. Now, InfoFi allows content to become a scored asset—systematically recorded, ranked, rewarded, and possibly eligible for: future incentive programs airdrops NFTs tied to your identity and reputation. 🧠 From platform-owned to creator-owned Under Web2 platforms like Twitter/X, your content belongs to them. But InfoFi projects are shifting that power—tying content to your on-chain address and allowing creators to own their narrative and reputation. This is the first step toward the tokenization of KOLs and decentralized influence economies. So I genuinely encourage everyone—even if you have zero followers—to start writing and building. Many platforms are optimizing their algorithms to reward effort and quality over follower count.
