Meta removes deepfake ads as Jamie Lee Curtis speaks out publicly

According to Decrypt, Academy Award winning actress Jamie Lee Curtis publicly named Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg to demand the removal of an AI generated advertisement for the unauthorized use of her portrait. The advertisement utilizes her previous interview video on MSNBC to promote an unauthorized product by manipulating speech through AI technology. Curtis condemned this move for damaging his reputation, and Meta quickly withdrew the advertisement. Curtis also confirmed that the advertisement has been removed.
