Bitcoin Core may remove the OP-RETURN 80 byte limit in the next upgrade

Odaily Planet Daily News: According to a developer statement, the next version of Bitcoin Core may abolish the limit of OP-RETURN output not exceeding 80 bytes. It indicates that the upper limit of OP-RETURN 80 bytes is no longer suitable for current demand, and many private mining accelerators no longer implement these restrictions, while also creating distorted incentive mechanisms.
