CompoSecure, Baanx, and MetaMask jointly launch metal payment cards to enable instant payment of encrypted assets

According to The Block, CompoSecure, Baanx, and MetaMask have announced a partnership to launch the MetaMask metal payment card, which is expected to be globally launched in the second quarter of 2025. This card supports users to make payments directly through the self hosted MetaMask wallet on the Linea network, without the need for preloading, fiat currency exchange, or reliance on centralized exchanges. The transaction authorization time is less than five seconds.
