North Korean hackers set up US companies to impersonate recruiters and attack encryption developers

According to Reuters, cybersecurity company Silent Push has revealed that members of the North Korean hacker group Lazarus have set up two companies, Blocknovas LLC and Softglide LLC, in the United States, registered under false identities and used them to deliver malicious software to crypto developers by forging job postings. The FBI has seized the Blocknovas website and stated that this action violates US Treasury Department OFAC and United Nations sanctions against North Korea.
