ZKsync development company Matter Labs sued for intellectual property theft

On April 22nd, according to CoinDesk, ZKsync development company Matter Labs was sued by the now defunct digital asset banking platform BANKEX for intellectual property theft. BANKEX CEO Igor Khmel and the BANKEX Foundation filed a lawsuit with the New York State Supreme Court on March 19th accusing former BANKEX employees Alexandr Vlasov and Petr Korolev of stealing their technology and founding Matter Labs, which had previously received over $450 million in venture capital and has become a major player in the blockchain industry.
