Odaily Planet Daily News: Crypto law firm Burwick Law has issued an open letter to the Solana ecosystem NFT protocol Metaplex, urging it to reconsider its plan to transfer unclaimed SOLs to DAO vaults after NFT adjustments and optimizations, stating that this behavior may constitute unjust enrichment and could trigger long-term litigation. Metaplex has announced that TM NFT holders can receive a small amount of SOL through the "resize" operation before April 25th. Failure to do so will result in their unclaimed assets being automatically transferred to the DAO vault. Burwick stated that the plan lacks transparency and over 54000 SOLs are at risk of being cleared. Currently, only about 7043 SOLs have been claimed, and the unclaimed portion is worth over $6.5 million. Burwick suggests that Metaplex should immediately suspend its current plan, refund 90% of unclaimed SOLs directly to NFT holders, and retain 10% for network maintenance to avoid litigation and maintain user trust.
