hi all, I want to share some changes that you'll see at @BanklessHQ -------------------------------------------- 1) AI & Frontier Tech episodes are getting a dedicated Podcast Feed AI fascinates me, but I get that not all Bankless listeners feel the same. So we’re spinning off AI/frontier tech episodes into their own feed (announcement 🔜). They’ll still appear on Bankless for now as we incubate the new feed, so I appreciate your patience as we work towards that -------------------------------------------- 2) Renewed Ethereum Focus Ethereum is going through a transformation, and I want to best support this transition. I'm going to prioritize Ethereum content to the best of my ability, and help educate and spread awareness that Ethereum is open for business. I look forward to the podcast with @tkstanczak and @hwwonx, and further discussions with them about how Bankless can support the effort. I know some want Bankless to be as Ethereum-focused as possible, but we need content that scales. I’m focused on finding Ethereum stories that are both meaningful and widely engaging, but I will sometimes find stories elsewhere too🙂 -------------------------------------------- 3) Thumbnails Like Ethereum, our thumbnails are going through a renaissance. While it seems like such a little thing, I've learned that people judge Bankless by the appearance of our thumbnails. Thumbnails are weirdly crucial for content businesses, and optimizing for CTRs is one of the highest-leverage things we do - that's why they are the way that they are. That said, we want to make the thumbnails give a strong appearance of legitimacy, and be a place where guests are proud to see their image. It was this way once, and it will be this way again. -------------------------------------------- 4) RSA is back this week You'll see RSA back on the weekly rollup this Friday. He'll have his own words to say, so stay tuned for those. I'm glad he was able to take some time off, and I'm also glad to get my friend back :) I'm also hugely grateful for the support from fellow podcasters to fill in his slot on the Weekly Rollup, especially @hosseeb @MikeIppolito_ and @intangiblecoins who showed up multiple times. In our 5+ years of running, Bankless has never missed a Monday interview, or a Friday Weekly Rollup, and I plan on continuing that streak. -------------------------------------------- If ya'll have any questions or any other feedback, pls let me know!
