According to BlockBeats, on April 15th, DeFi fixed income platform Treehouse Finance completed a new round of financing, with an undisclosed amount and a token valuation of $400 million. This round of financing adopts the SAFT structure, and Treehouse Finance did not disclose its main investors, but referred to it as the venture capital department of one of the largest life insurance and financial services companies managing over $500 billion in assets. The investor appears to be MassMutual Ventures, which also participated in Treehouse's seed round financing. MassMutual Ventures declined to comment in an interview. Other participants in the latest round of financing include Guy Young from Ethena, Darius Sit from QCP Capital, Rich Teo from Paxos, Matthew Tan from Etherscan, Jordi Alexander from Selini Capital, and Michael Ashby from Algouant's former Point72 Asset Management, among other angel investors. Treehouse's previous seed round financing of $18 million was completed three years ago (March 2022) and also adopted the SAFT structure. Treehouse's core products include Distributed Quotation Rate (DOR) and tAssets (Treehouse Assets). DOR is currently in the testing phase, and the main network is expected to be launched in June.
