According to a report by Golden Ten, Brent Donnelly, President of Spectra Markets, a foreign exchange research firm, said that although Trump's tariff policies have caused severe stock market sell offs, even worse economic impacts are still ahead. He warned that traders have not yet factored in factors such as upcoming supply chain disruptions, recruitment freezes, and cost increases in their prices. Donnelly added that hopes for a quick agreement between the White House and its trading partners may be misguided. He pointed out that the negotiations for the US Mexico Canada trade agreement, which was supervised by Trump and advocated at the time, lasted for over a year. Uncertainty will continue to exist, and lag is real, "Donnelly said. Economic forecasters find it difficult to model the situation in the coming months.
