Everyone knows @trondao as the USDT remittance chain. The newer data says it's becoming something bigger.

CryptoQuant's H1 report tracks three shifts:

1/ Gasless is taking off. GasFree lets people move USDT without paying network gas themselves. It now clears $2.9B a week, up from near zero a year ago, at an effective fee of ~0.009%.

2/ Liquidity is going cross-chain. http://Rhino.fi's TRON USDT volume (feeding Wirex cards) jumped from ~$1M to $48M a week, average transfer size climbing $3K to $24K. That's business money, not retail.

3/ Agents are plugging in. Facilitators like http://B.AI and MERX are wiring TRON's USDT into x402 rails for machine-to-machine payments.

The backbone under all of it: $90B USDT, $27B moved daily, avg fee $0.49.

Still a payments chain. Just not only P2P anymore.
