The Qing Dynasty lasted for 270 years, and in essence, it was still the Han people in power.

In the 270 years of the Qing Dynasty, it was essentially the Han people who were in control:

The Manchu, as a seafood hunting tribe with a written language for only a decade or so, swept across China with just 60,000 banner troops. The reason they could rule the vast Chinese territory for 270 years not only lies in the fact that the Eight Banners soldiers had far superior individual combat capabilities compared to the farming Han people, but more crucially, the Manchus actively assimilated into Han civilization;

Starting from Hong Taiji, they took the initiative to learn Han culture. After the Manchus entered the pass, they almost completely inherited the Ming Dynasty's system intact; whether it was edicts or memorials, they were all in Chinese, the books they read, and the examination content were all the Four Books and Five Classics. By the time of Qianlong, the Eight Banners' children had already lost the ability to speak Manchu and write in Manchu. Apart from the difference in queues and hairpins, they were essentially Han people, with no distinct physical differences;

As for the “Three Days in Yangzhou” and “Three Massacres in Jiading,” such events occur during every change of dynasty in China, and the Han regimes were often far more ruthless in killing Han people than the Qing! After the Qing government's stability was established, their treatment of Han people was quite good, and their integrity towards the common folk was significantly better than that of the Ming Dynasty. The emperors of the Qing Dynasty were far more wise and diligent than those abstract emperors of the Ming Dynasty; the Manchus had completely sinicized, which is why they could maintain a stable rule for 270 years, which is vastly different from Mongolian rule in China;

As for the backwardness of modern China, this is not a problem of the Qing Dynasty; the essence of backwardness is caused by Confucian thought. If it were the Ming Dynasty or a Han regime, it might have been even more backward;

If a nation's civilizational system has fully learned and accepted you and has actively assimilated, then that nation itself becomes your nation. Thus, the essence of the Qing Dynasty is that Han civilization was in power, and they governed quite well! So there should be no notion of a Manchu-Han opposition.
