But at least I think this might not be the main reason. After some thought, it’s likely due to poor liquidity causing a rush to exit. The main reason for this rush should be that the positive news from Nvidia continued to attract some new funds into the market, but this new influx of funds turned into a liquidity outflow.

It’s likely that people feel the current valuations are too high. Or the market is not performing well; it’s rare to see the Nasdaq go from up 2.5% to down 2%. Currently, the VIX is about to break 30. If it drops again tomorrow, it’s estimated to be above 30 next week. If there really is no interest rate cut in December, or if the Federal Reserve does not provide a dovish response, it will be quite difficult.
