On June 7, MEET48, the world's first AI-Agent and AIUGC creator and fan economy ecological community focused on the entertainment sector, announced the upcoming $IDOL airdrop plan. The $IDOL airdrop query page will officially go live on June 9, 2025, at 3:00 UTC, marking a significant step into the new era of Web3 entertainment.
The airdrop eligibility snapshot was completed on May 21 at 16:00 UTC, covering users who interacted with the MEET48 ecosystem, partner communities, special contributors, active users of Mars Protocol, creators, the top three of "The Mars Audition for Best3 AI-MEME," and NFT holders within the ecosystem. Users can log into the airdrop page using their wallet address, email, or account ID to check their eligibility and the amount they can claim. After the Token Generation Event (TGE), the first airdrop will be immediately available for 14 days, after which it will be considered automatically forfeited. The $IDOL obtained through the airdrop can be used to participate in the 1st Web3.0 All-Community Annual Idol Popularity Audition & Ceremony (WIPA) voting. If users choose to use votes that have not yet been unlocked, it will be considered a voluntary forfeiture of the subsequent linear unlocking rights for that portion of tokens.
